What were the Ten Commandments of Fascism?
I read somewhere that Mussolini had distributed a Ten Commandments for his Fascist supporters. These sights tell you that such a thing existed, but they don’t tell you what those Commandments were! Does anybody know? If so can you post your source.
This might help. There are no actual 10 commandments of fascism that I know of.

The Ten Commandments and Human Rights $30 “The Ten Commandments and Human Rights sets out to evaluate the importance of the Ten Commandments for the life of faith today. The general thesis is that the commandments are immensely important not only for Jews and Christians, but for all persons seeking to find or to reaffirm a moral foundation for their life and for the life of their children, their religious community, and their society.>The fact that the commandments are put negatively is immensely important, for it means that the community that claims these commandments and builds on them has to work out for itself the positive import of not having other gods, not worshipping idols, not profaning the sabbath, not killing and stealing, and committing adultery. Put negatively, these commitments become the groundwork for a humanly free and responsible search for the will of God for individual, family, and corporate life today and in any day.>It is true that the commandments originate in ancient Israel, are central to the faith of prophets, priests, and sages, and are claimed and made foundational by Jesus for the Christian community. But these commandments also share much with, for example, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which has been presented by the United Nations for adoption by all the nations of earth.>The Ten Commandments and Human Rights seeks to show how to avoid moralistic use of the Ten Commandments in religious life today while still affirming that there are absolutely foundational prohibitions that can and must guide the moral life of all peoples. The Ten Commandments need very little revision in order to become such a foundation for a free and responsible life today.” |

The Ten Commandments: Laws of the Heart $18 “Are the Ten Commandments just a set of rules or are they a way of life? How does each one call us to reflect on out life and values? What does it mean to love God and our neighbor in a world where violence greed, and fear threaten our lives, our values, our hearts? Joan Chittister answers these and other questions. Each chapter focuses on what one of the commandments means for us today. The final two shed light on the two Great Commandments, “Love God with all your heart, and your neighbor as yourself.” |

The Meaning of the Ten Commandments $14.99 “The Ten Commandments have been used and abused by both Christendom and a Secularist Society that claim they are legalistic and not for today theology. The author explains their purpose and importance for both the Church and society in today’s changing world. Are they necessary as a way of life? Why has crime increased? What’s wrong with wanting a world that is not anti-God and not against law and order. It is with this in mind that the author tries to get the reader to change their thinking. “The Ten Commandments: Low or a Way of Life?” Let the reader be the judge, we have seen what has happened in our society when Prayer and the Bible was taken out of our schools. Now the attack is on the Ten Commandments with a Judge removed form office because of his stand for having them in the Court Area of a Court House and trying to keep him from even practicing law in his own State.” |

What help do they offer as we struggle to find our way in an increasingly complex and bewildering moral universe? Are they of any real help? The Ten Commandments: Laws That Liberate $7.99 “EXPERIENCE THE FREEDOM OF FOLLOWING GOD’S WAYS> My will be done. Or, “Thy will be done.” > Every day we get to decide if we will set our own course for life or follow God’s clear direction. When God says, “Thou shall not,” and we do it anyways, we end up incarcerated by our own choices. > The Ten Commandments are a heaven-sent source of liberation. For millennia God’s people have known that these laws bring freedom and sanity to a crazed world. Entire societies have used these truths as the bedrock of their legal system. Those who want to live with peace and freedom will go back to these commandments often, hold them tightly, and allow them become formative truths for their daily life.” |

Dancing with the Law: The Ten Commandments $11.99 “In a world where No one tells me what to do and I am my own authority, the Ten Commandments quickly find their way to the trash heap. For most of us, the words surrounding law–rule, restriction, regulation, requirement, code, commandment, covenant, must, ought, shall, will–are simply not our favorite words to hear. They are parental words, court words, conflict words. We use them only when we have to; otherwise, we willingly hold them at a distance. But the Old Testament people of God had a different take on law. They took their copy of the law their God had given them, clutched it to their chests, and danced with it. They observed it daily in their relationships and required their young to memorize it. And when a copy of the law had grown ragged and old, they had a special ceremony to retire it. They buried it with all the dignity of a beloved grandparent’s body. In Dancing with the Law, author Dan Boone challenges us to, like the ancient people of God, look at law as a sacred gift that points the way to the life God intended. Through his earnest exploration of the Ten Commandments, he offers us a new perspective on law–one that makes us dance with freedom, liberty, and the gift of life.” |

The Ten Commandments for Jews, Christians, and Others $22 “In this book eminent Jewish and Christian scholars come together to illuminate the Ten Commandments. Roger Van Harn has arranged the volume so that writers from both traditions dialogue over each of the Ten Words. A Christian or a Jew writes a penetrating essay about one of the commandments, followed by a shorter response from a member of the other tradition ? all done, remarkably, without sacrificing either Jewish or Christian identity. >Unique for its authentic interfaith dialogue on dogmatic matters, The Ten Commandments for Jews, Christians, and Others offers pertinent guidelines for believing Jews and Christians today, with the goal of stimulating deeper conversation between the two groups. As Van Harn says, ???Listening to one another may hold pleasant surprises that open us to new possibilities.??? >Contributors: Carl E. Braaten>Roger Brooks>Shalom Carmy>James A. Diamond>Elliot N. Dorff>Jean Bethke Elshtain>Rochelle L. Millen>Richard John Neuhaus>David Novak>Peter W. Ochs>David Patterson>Daniel Polish>Anathea E. Portier-Young>R. R. Reno>John K. Roth>Byron L. Written in Stone: The Ten Commandments and Today’s Moral Crisis $14.99 “The Ten Commandments are the crystallization of God’s law – but how do we apply them, and how do they relate to the gospel of sins forgiven? The church exists in a kind of moral limbo where we say we live under grace, yet still know that the commandments have to have a role in our lives somewhere. Where should we place them in our everyday lives, motives and attitudes? The commandments are an expression of God’s character – this means that they provide foundational principles for how we relate to God and his plan for our lives.” |

The Law of Perfect Freedom: Relating to God and Others Through the Ten Commandments $12.99 “The Ten Commandments are not Moses’ bright ideas or simply God’s suggestions; they are God’s categorical requirements. Understanding how to live out these commandments brings vitality and victory to our walk with God.” |

God of Justice: A Look at the Ten Commandments for the 21st Century $14.95 “With the Ten Commandments such an integral part of today’s “culture wars,” one would think that most people are familiar with what they actually say. Yet many surveys indicate otherwise — and even when people can name all of the commandments, they often misinterpret their meaning. In God of Justice, David Leininger sets the record straight with a new look at this ancient document. He examines the commandments in the context of today’s social, cultural, and political environment — and concludes that rather than ironclad laws, the commandments are actually God’s policy statements about what is the bedrock of a good, decent, and just society. When properly understood, the commandments offer God’s guidance in establishing a healthy way of life that is rewarding for everyone. With discussion questions included for each chapter, this book is an excellent study resource for adult classes — and clear and accessible reading that will be stimulating for any thoughtful Christian.” |

God’s Rules for Holiness: Unlocking the Ten Commandments $11.99 “Taken at face value the Ten Commandments are binding on all people, and will guard the way to Heaven so that evil will never spoil its glory and purity. But the Commandments are far greater than their surface meaning, as this book shows. They challenge Christians on a very wide range of sinful deeds and attitudes. They provide positive virtues as goals. And they give immense help for staying close to the Lord in the life of faith. Here readers will find a panoramic view of the standards and goals for God’s people.” |

The Ten Commandments & Their Influence on American Law – A Study in History $19.99 “An in-depth study of how each of the Ten Commandments had a historical impact on the development of laws in America and affected the legal philosophy of our government framers. For example, the 4th Commandment-”Keep Holy the Sabbath”: PENNSYLVANIA FRAME OF GOVERNMENT, April 25, 1682, Article XXII: “That as often as any day of the month…shall fall upon the first day of the week, commonly called the Lord’s Day, the business appointed for that day shall be deferred till the next day, unless in the case of emergency.” U.S. CONSTITUTION, 1787, Article I, Section 7, Paragraph 2 “If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him, the Same shall be a Law” Read how the Ten Commandments affected the views of America’s leaders: “The Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount contain my religion” – John Adams, Nov. 4, 1816, letter to Thomas Jefferson. “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount. The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings we get from Exodus and St. Matthew, from Isaiah and St. Paul. I don’t think we emphasize that enough these days.” – Harry S Truman, Feb. 15, 1950, Attorney General’s Conference. See references to the Ten Commandments in court cases: “The Ten Commandments have had an immeasurable effect on Anglo-American legal development” – U.S. District Court, Crockett v. Sorenson, W.D. Va. (1983) “It is equally undeniable …that the Ten Commandments have had a significant impact on the development of secular legal codes of the Western World.” – U.S. Supreme Court, Stone v. Graham, (1980) (Rehnquist, J., dissenting) An ideal book forstudents, teachers, journalists, writers and those interested in researching the foundations of American law” |

Reading the Ten Commandments Anew: Towards a Land of Freedom $12.95 “The Ten Commandments transport most of us back to the religion of our childhood, to catechism class or Sunday school. They easily evoke blind obedience, sin and guilt, a moralistic or legalistic mindset; their negative approach seems to be at the opposite extreme from the positive religion of love and responsibility which we identify with Jesus Christ. This book proposes to undertake a re-reading of this well-known biblical text to show how the Ten Commandments represent simple boundaries that protect our freedom to act and grow as children of a loving God. They are road signs indicating the way to the One who is the Way to Life in all its fullness.” |
